Exuma Cays

From Clarence Town we went as planned along the windward side of L.I. However, the winds were so much stronger than predicted that the master, in particular, at times was fearing for the mast. Pic 1 displays a mate still amazed (smiling) after hours of much and very much rain. From Cape Sta. Maria onwards we spent a rolly night with only the storm jib set and entered the Exuma Cays through the Big Rock Cut (Stanley Cay). We will have to get re-accustomed to eye-balling navigation to say the least... Finally we met Dragan (pic 2 with Rainer, Dragan and his new boat) and Dragan's boyfriend, family and friends.
