Galapagos
First Pacific leg is accomplished. Yesterday, Monday 9. of march we reached Santa Cruz, Galapgos. We have not seen much yet, so here only some foto impressions of the harbour. This post will be updated within the days to come.
Another impressive accomplishment for the crew of Prins Henrik. We look forward to more photos of the Galapagos. Thank you for the visual verification that you crossed the equator. We will drink some champagne in your honor! Carol and Tom Mulligan
You will love the Galapagos Islands because they are the most incredible living museum of evolutionary changes, with a huge variety of exotic species (birds, land animals, plants) and landscapes not seen anywhere else.
What a place to be in the 200 year of the birth off Charles Darwin, and 150 year of his: The origin of Species. Right place, right time, I must say! And what pictures of pelicans and seales (?) so close to you. I would like to change 4 houers on Galapagos with one month in 5 degree celcius-Denmark. Kisses to both! Ole Morten
Sad but true:
Prins Henrik sold!
We sold our prince on Aitutaki, Cook Islands, where, as we heard, it will be used by the local sailing club, mainly for kids.
